CURRICULUM VITAE

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Lushi Liu is an Intra-disciplinary artist and PhD researcher at the University of Cambridge, working at the intersections of art, technology, education and philosophy.

Grounded in new materialism and posthumanism, her practice explores how knowledge emerges through the entanglements of human and more-than-human agencies. Working across immersive installations, extended reality (XR), performance, participatory workshops and speculative fiction, she approaches artistic practice not simply as an object of research, but as a mode of inquiry and knowledge production.

Her research engages with diffractive methodologies, material-discursive practices and multidimensional imaginaries, investigating how bodies, technologies and environments continuously constitute and transform one another.
